aiming to create weavings that are later taken to sites where they not only interact with the natural landscape, but are overtime (and immediately) shaped, worn, changed by the location and elements that exist in that space.

all textiles in this project will be made from 100% plant derived materials, allowing them to eventually break down and return to the earth from which they derived.

I often think about the environmental impact of textile production, and consider the effects these processes have on our environment. In a time of extreme climate shifts, I am urging myself to not only release the preciousness of each creation, the desire to protect it from wear, and instead, gift them away.
